Spring Inspiration: Finding Joy Today

Dear Reader!,

Happy last day of April!

Here where I live it's finally starting to look and feel like Spring. (Except those few days with snow on the ground!)

We love flowers in our house - this is the tulip and daffodil garden we have out front by the street. I sit on the porch a lot and love looking and seeing the flowers. We also have a pair of cardinals who have been courting and a robin's nest in one of our tall bushes.

I presented a discussion about Joy last week, and how important it is to create moments of joy in our lives. Even micro-moments of joy - and getting to look at these flowers is one of those joyful moments I try to pay attention to.

I even saw someone taking photos of our flowers the other day - it made me smile. What micro moments of joy have you experience lately?

New Blog - Things That Still Feel Hard For Me - Even As An ADHD Coach

I get the assumption that I've got my crap together. This is what I do. I help others do this work every day. I talk about ADHD, the nervous system, the tools....so yes - I have a LOT of awareness.

And still?

Things are still hard sometimes. The world isn't set up for us.

I may not struggle as hard or the same way that I used to - but that definitely doesn't mean I don't struggle. I love a good struggle bus ride.

This Week's Quick Tip(s) - 5 Things I Love About Coaching ADHD Humans

🌻I love watching people go from "what's wrong with me?" to "oh...this is just how my brain works."

🌻I love watching shame and guilt start to loosen their guilt on some amazing humans and watching self-confidence grow.

🌻I love helping people build lives that fit their brains and energy cycles instead of constantly fighting to fit in a box that wasn't meant for them.

🌻I love that coaching with me isn't one-size-fits-all - each of my clients is a puzzle in the best way.

🌻I love being part of someone’s support system in a way that feels human, not clinical.

This Week's Question

If you could ask me one question about ADHD, neurodivergent, or disability - what would you ask?
